The Alliance for the Total Annihilation of Cancer (ATAC) recently gave out their 2017 disbursements. ATAC is a local non-profit and 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fighting cancer through financial support for treatment, research and education. Each year, ATAC holds a variety of fundraisers in central Ohio culminating in annual disbursements giving out 100% of all funds raised.
For 2017, ATAC gave $1,200.00 to the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation for the FMC Cancer Center and Oncology Program, $1,200.00 to a Licking County family battling cancer, $1,200.00 to a Fairfield County family battling cancer and $200.00 to the Fairfield County Chapter of US TOO, a prostate cancer support group.
ATAC has a variety of fundraisers planned for 2018, including our annual events such as the February bowling event, Spring wine tasting, Summer Mustang car show and Fall euchre tournament. Bobby Dawes from Bob-Boyd Ford presents Lorie Lauzon, ATAC Treasurer, with a $200.00 check. Bob-Boyd not only hosted the 2017 ATAC Mustang Round-Up, but also donated door prizes, concession items and $100.00 for every car sale made the day of the event

Rob Jackson, Dean Redd and Joe Sims present a $1,400.00 check to Morgan Soon of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation. The donation is 50% of all proceeds raised in 2016, ATAC'S first year of operations. The funds are earmarked for the Oncology Department. The other 50% of proceeds will be presented just after Christmas - check back for an update."
