ATAC Makes 2018 Disbursements; Achieves $10,000.00 Milestone
Lancaster: The Alliance for the Total Annihilation of Cancer (ATAC) has announced the organization’s 2018 disbursements. Two Lancaster families each received $1,200.00 to assist in their family member’s fight against cancer and $1,000.00 was disbursed to the OSU James Cancer Center, Prostate Cancer Research Program.
In 2016 and 2017, ATAC disbursed funds to several local families, as well as Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Fairfield Medical Center and the Lancaster/Fairfield County Chapter of the Us Too! prostate cancer support group. The three-year total has resulted in ATAC reaching the $10,000.00 milestone of funds disbursed to local families and cancer programs.
ATAC holds fundraisers each year culminating in 100% of all funds raised being disbursed to families in need and existing cancer programs. The 2019 effort already has a great start after receiving a $1,000.00 donation from the Gannett Foundation through the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette.
